Jacob Movold

Kinesiologist (BHK)

Jacob grew up in North Vancouver, BC and had the opportunity to play many sports varying from ultimate frisbee to football. It was playing these sports, getting numerous injuries, and seeing others injured, that sparked his passion for injury rehabilitation. He chose to attend the University of British Columbia Okanagan where he obtained his bachelor’s degree of Human Kinetics. Eventually, he seeks to become a physiotherapist so he can continue to develop his rehabilitation skillset. He enjoys helping clients achieve a better quality of life and facilitating their journey to doing what they love.

Outside of the clinic he is a sports enthusiast. He loves playing golf and basketball and is always happy to talk about what’s going on in the world of sports. He also enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and going camping in his spare time. Jacob tore his ACL and meniscus in the summer of 2022, so he understands the journey of getting back to functional strength and all the struggles that injuries can bring. Learning about the human body and expanding his understanding of it is something Jacob continuously strives for.

What Our Clients are Saying

Bobby is an amazing physio! He is been incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in working through my running injury! Everyone working at the clinic is friendly and it’s such a comfortable environment for treatment. 10/10 recommend.
Mikayla Shymka,

Due to the team effort of Bobby and Jacob, I’m finally feeling improvement. My pain is manageable, and I’m even sleeping better! I would highly recommend Kelowna Physiotherapy Associates to anyone struggling with chronic issues. They truly care about their patients and it shows in the results. Thank you!

Frank Fabian,

I highly recommend this clinic. I saw Amanda several months back for a knee injury after a marathon and she helped resolve my pain with a few needles in 1 day! She identified my muscle weakness that triggered the injury and gave me strength exercises to work on so it doesn’t happen again! I’ve been back running stronger and pain free because of it! Thank you Amanda🤙
